Alright Titan users who don't cook with ppc kitchen, here is your ROM folder aka your payload file for 21501. Sorry it's coming a bit late, just that I was still having fun with 21210. These releases come so fast that they rob you of any sense of loyalty or attachment to any build. Okay so here it is, happy cooking. Vogue payload file to follow shortly.

So here it is for Vogue, the payload file.

Life is good for the most part. I flashed the SYS that Con posted with your XIP...saw that it ran, and did something stupid....I started customizing and flashed again. It's an addiction I guess.

I don't know if it is something in the SYS, or something I added in on my custom attempts. But in 3-4 hours today, on my custom, I went from 100% battery to 8%. And the battery meter on the Today screen didn't even flinch off of full, but in the power settings menu, all seems well and accurate.

Ideas on a) how to get the battery meter to work properly; and b) what could be causing the battery drain? Is it possible that it is nueKernal since you said it wasn't in your XIP this time around and I added it from PPCK? Other than that, I am clueless.

Oh! and I finally got off my a$$ and wrote up a PROVXML...a little different than an RGU, but all in all, not to shabby, cooking now to see if it works or not. :D

Does this PROVXML look right? There are entries in there from all the work from the folks on my thread on XDA, as well as a couple from Mr. FREE's kitchen, and others that I found through that wonderful invention called "Search." Feel free to chime up if I screwed up somewhere!

You think you were nervous then? just wait until you post your first RUU for everyone else to play with....that was the point when I got nervous! :???: But then, you settle down and start digging deeper...it's an addiction:mrgreen: I tell ya! no treatment available!

I thought you posted earlier that you skipped a step...or was that with a different XIP??? Because nueKernal seems to run fine on the Titan with 21501....maybe I just misread your post earlier today.

You're telling me it's an addiction! I've had it on my phone what like 5 mins and now I'm researching how to totally produce a rom of my own. I really don't want it based of someone else's rom. Any hints to get started? Just downloaded Build OS.

nah, skipped putting touch pro 6.5 nk.exe in touch pro, so my xip might be slightly inferior (only the touch pro one though)

Attached is the 21501 XIP for the Elf. Thanks to dan-htc-touch for posting the other XIPs, from which I was able to port to the Elf. This XIP contains a modified nk.exe that allows the system time to remain unchanged after a hard reset (works only for Elf).

Also thanks to Conflipper once again for the 21501 release!!!!

Then no worries....on the XIP.

Now I am stuck at the point of trying to figure out why the battery meter doesn't change at all in the task bar...always shows full charge. Is there a file I could replace in the SYS? The meter has worked in the previous builds, just not now. (I also have the new PPCK if that matters).

Also, in that PROVXML I posted a little while ago, I have the reg edit in there to fix the Wireless Manager Link....still at a dead end ](*,)(this was also broke in the "Official" build I cooked up, and the only changes I had from the SYS COn posted was the nueKernal and it's Camera). It has been jacked up in every build thus far that I have worked on, we have a CAB posted on XDA that fixes it, but I want it to be fixed when people flash the ROM....any more ideas on that side of the coin?

Reason why I wldn't upload an RUU yet, can't provide support, too demanding, can't cope with that and work...............and family.

If someone still have the new message not working with 21501 - I just fix it by replacing the redist lang folders of previously working build :headbang: "I also replaced Base_Lang just in case"

21501 is great indeed :)

You guys like this? Does it look like it could be an original 6.5 dialer?

When will this be ready?? I'm waiting desperately for it, and do me a favor, keep a single image/picture file for the background, so that its easy for cooks to change the background of the dialer with there default theme :D THNX :D

I think that the issues have to do with lockstream drm well that is what I read in Da_g's forum.

After about an hour or so of looking for a fix I have decided to scrap my kitchen and wait for someone else (who knows what they are doing) to release a kitchen

Or... I might wait till the next build that might not have this issue.

Why don't you people just use PPCKitchen? Between Dan and Conflipper contributing their SYS/XIP, it ALWAYS works, it's easy, it's flexible when it comes to managing multiple builds, ROMs, selections, etc... Am I missing something here? GGuru did an awesome job and it's only getting better.

I think its because anyone can use the kitchen to make a rom and I think some like to protect there stuff when releasing to the public the PPCK doesn't have that option as far as I know.

cause on bepe tools kitchen the roms are much faster and if we somehow get the new nk.exe for our devices then we will need roms for 6.5 oemcore and the only problems are not the kitchen but the resources - bepe platformrebuilder needs perfect resources not modified so now i'm testing port 804 to 409 so far ok few more tests and will might be ready :headbang:

Anyone know why the Messaging app opens after a reset all the time? It's been doing that since the early 6.5 builds. I know there is poutlook.lnk in the Startup folder, but that's also found in 6.1 builds, and they don't have this issue.

Oh, I don't know...probably because one of us knows more about the issue than the other.

It is interesting that changing attributes makes it work for you...I wouldn't have guessed you could work around it that way. It's a bit like two wrongs coincidentally made a right.
