Yes, there are issues, but it's not from .net. Replace the GAC_*.* files in the BaseApps with those from a working build (i.e. 23017 or 23016). That's what I did to the PPCk files to fix the issue, and users on XDA have confirmed that it fixes the issue for them as well.

Ok, here's a 23025 Apache WITHOUT spinlock patching. Give this one a go and let me know. If it works, then maybe the Apache just won't work with spinlock patching.

Yup it now works. Looks like, my Apache anyway, doesn't like the spinlock patch. Thanks! Now I can see what everyone is talking about........... the larger menus. I actually like them

joojoo thanks for the fix.

I have experienced SMS typing delay on 23025 with any keyboard. (not because of the fix)
Do you have any solution on that or do you get this problem also?

They take some time to adjust to, but they are definitely nice.

I will be sure to put up a NON-spinlock patched Apache XIP next time. I'm glad your up and running now. The larger menus? I consider them a double-edged sword. They make navigation a bit easier, but also break/cripple some applications too.

I only notice the lag when I am typing a new message to someone. If I bring up the conversation/chat and type there, it is fine. I remember back in the earlier 6.5 days, someone mentioned a reg key that would disable the character counter to disable the lag, see if you can locate that, apply it and let us know.
