I can't figure this out any help would be great!](*,)

I have a vogue, radio 3.42.30.

I have never had this issue before with any builds...

i dont know whether this will work for u but you could try reflashing imcokes unlocker, sometimes it can get corrupted, also try flashing back to stock rom then back to your custom rom

PPCKitchen files. Browsingie and adobeflash have been recmodded. WinCENLS_WWE is in the 0409. IPSECVPN and Enterprise are optional under system. The 96DPI were put together with 218xx.

The CDMA Touch Pro (Herman)XIP is the only one I can verify. The others, well they should be fine. As usual, these were based from Da_G's kitchen, but this IS the developers thread so....

UPDATE: The additional SYS_23001_96DPI_0409.old is here because of a possible messaging issue with the 23001 QVGA files from Da_G. This one will need renamed to use obviously. The IE issue is resolved in this one.

SYS_23001_Common

SYS_23001_192DPI_0409 (updated 06/30/09 at 12:35pm EST. Removed _skip files. Sorry bout that. I don't get overwrite warning popups. Only in my log.)
http://www.4shared.com/file/11509931...2DPI_0409.html

SYS_23001_96DPI_0409 (updated 06/30/09 at 2pm EST with Da_G's newest DPI files. This will fix IE as well)
http://www.4shared.com/file/11514012...6DPI_0409.html

SYS_23001_96DPI_0409.old
http://www.4shared.com/file/11519785..._0409_old.html

Thanks to Da_G for the goods as usual. :headbang:

joojoobee,
I just installed 23001 and your files worked perfectly as usual. Thanks for all of the effort you and Da_G put into these files.

How do I fix the problem with entering text with punctuation sometimes? It sometimes puts the cursor about 3 characters behind where I am typing.

Thanks,
Jeff

As btonetbone said, this will fix the issue. So far it appears that only QVGA users are experiencing the issue. Just curious, which QVGA files did you use? The ones from Da_G's 23001 DPI or the old ones? If you used the Da_G ones, did you have any problems with Outlook?

Check your PM, for charmer we only have 58mb flash so theres no extra's like widgets or weather Messenger, stuff:) as said in PM don't use OEMXIPKERNEL from xip it's for Charmer Wizard n Prophet I recommend you build only my SYS contents first and if all's OK then add the other stuff

EDIT P.S. check for _only and _skip files i use bepe platformrebuilder and left them in

Old style? I don't know. I thought we agreed there was a copy under temp after a build? Unless you are referring to the old XIP?

joojoobee666,

i am sorry to confuse you. i am currently using the visual kitchen. What I meant was that in order to find the old xip.bin file do i use the out.bin file in the old style kitchen and change the name to xip.bin. I am getting ready to head into work and will be able to post those files you asked for in a little bit. I will post the old.bin (changing the name of it) and the new xip.bin that visual kitchen is creating.

Thank you so much for being generous with your time and knowledge.

Best way to find out if you have issues with SYS or XIP is to interchange them for known good one. You can easily do that with VK.

That is a very good idea. I didn't think of doing that. I am going to try that when I get to work. Thank you for the suggestion.
