if you've still got grey and don't wanna reflash, give this a try. soft-reset required afterward

*seems to take care of some, but not ALL of the grey.

Anyone here uses ervius visual kitchen? ..

I'm experiencing this:
- Not sure but looks like that the .provxml files are not loaded on boot

This because task manager shortcut not created and default theme not loaded on 1st boot "And so never"

Any idea what might be the cause? ](*,)

@joojoobee666: Well, thats what i was saying. Keeping the file improves performance, not removing it. I always cook my XIP with it. From your last post, i misunderstood that removing this file will cause performance gains :D

OH! I see. I must have mistook what you said since you mistook what I said. Whoops. At least we are both on the same page now:thumbleft:

I had that problem when I tried to post with the visual kitchen once. Im not really that familiar with that kitchen, so I don't have an answer, but at least you're not alone..

@joojoobee666: Lol. it seems so. Buddy i have one more question for you. As you know i use HTC Gene which is based on an OMAP850 200 Mhz teeny weenie proccy with 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM. I have heard about Spin Lock Patching a lot, but i am unable to figure out that is this applicable on my device, and how should i do it, if its possible at all? Can you throw some light or direct me to some place where i can read about it?

Thanks in advance! :)

Go to no2chems site, and download the app. Dump your xip with XIPPort, and spinlock the files that no2 states on his website. Rebuild your xip.

Then spinlock your oemdrivers folder too.

Hey Indagroove, thanks for the info buddy. Really appreciate it. But what i also like to know is that is this Spinlock patching applies to all devices with all processors, or is it just for some specific series of processors, or whatever?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

is anyone having trouble connecting to Windows Mobile Device Center with 21820?

I also have the ROM built and i have the old menu's etc, but didn't have that with the 21815 build? What do i need to replace in the 21820 from 21815 to get the correct themes and menus?

any help is greatly appreciated...i read the past posts on the subject, but they didn't make complete sense to me. If someone could explain it to me in laymens terms i would be EXTREMELY greatful.
