The WinMo team's twitter appears to say that 6.5 is finished. http://twitter.com/wmdev/status/1797927736

Guess we should see the actual RTM build floating around soon.

Guys, I was wondering what's the talk about the different kitchens... the only GUI tool I use is BUILDOS (just to create the DUMP directory) and Total Commander.. all the rest is just command line stuff and BAT files I created myself to automate some tedious tasks.

I am really glad noone made a simple kitchen for the i780 - I've learned so much by modifying rgu/provxml's myself, replacing files .. etc..

Regarding the RTM.. can't wait :headbang:

There are only 3 kitchens:

PPCkitchen (the best at OEM/package handling, easiest to use)
New bepe (the best at xip building, fastest)
Old bepe (the worst at everything. No one should be using this)

Ervius's visual kitchen is the only GUI front end for New Bepe - all other talk of so-and-so's kitchen are old Bepe and should be avoided.

..it's recmod.exe and it's not needed if you use WMRELOC + dummy G'reloc forwarder to relocate the modules (instead of original G'reloc) ..

No. Recmod subtracts from what WMreloc (or G'reloc) has to deal with.

.. yes, but why convert from modules to files (using recmod.exe) if WMRELOC relocates ALL modules correctly? It never failed me :)

I'm not so sure WMReloc works right either. I have a feeling that it might be producing some overlaps. I cooked a 21231 without recmodding the IE stuff and could not get ringtones working (corrupted), so I recmodded the browsing and browsingie folders and problem went away.
