not sure why someone was up in my grill about file attributes not being the problem, but whatever

Those attributes always a problem sir when taken out of PPCK. Could make the best of chef look stupid. So I repeat myself here, anyone releasing their SYS please broaden the base. Not all of us are ppc kitchen users. Thanks.

It should not be that bad the base is off of DXCs Iphone dialer witch can be found over at XDA its older but works great..

What u saying that BEPE's platformrebuilder is the problem ?

I dont think so - sorry the sources are modified and we are best off with untached sources (as bepe said) that we do not have . We are happy to get all resources we can here for wm6.5 so no offence for the sources released but with all unmodified sources the tools are best working. No offence to ppckitchen at all.

Anyone having a problem with 21501 where some of the shortcuts in settings do nothing? For example, when I click on advanced config in settings/system on the start menu it does absolutely nothing, but when I go directly to the .exe in windows it loads fine. Any ideas?

hey, for all those confused over how to set up a kitchen, 21501 is available via ppckitchen updater, it will set everything up for you

Always true. Not really relevant to the issue at hand however (Bepe was referring to file replacement/alteration) The problem here is not that the source is bad, but that the reassembly is incorrect. You might be able to work around it, but the problem remains that the tools caused the issue, not the source (yeah, yeah...you don't really care so long as it works - that is short sighted, as you pay the price again and again).

Except for PPCkitchen's buildos, Bepe is the author of buildos, pkgtools, and platform rebuilder. Ervius's build tool is Bepe.

C'mon guys, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that those files needing those attributes is about as completely random a requirement as there is. You are not fixing the problem, only a symptom.
