FYI, the XIPs were all made in a new XIPKitchen, so let me know if there are any issues. Apache and Kaiser (this ones for you MAFoElffen) are not spinlock patched.

All files, including XIPs, can be located here:

IPSECVPN_DPI_96\ipsecvpnres.96.dll\imageinfo.bin (???)

have you redownloaded since the atributes fixed? If not running the unhide.bat will fix that.

Trying the fresh download now.
I found the .xip files to have .bin, instead of .BIN.
If that makes a difference?
It's been a while since I did that unhide.bat, could you please refresh my memory.

TIA

EDIT:
New files have same issue. Searching for "unhide.bat"... Any one got a link?

It is in this thread, so just search this thread. You can hit the attachments from forum menu to bring up all attachments.

The .bin vers .BIN has not been a problem for me. But it is always best to keep the same whatever you have, so they match perfectly.

OK I found the 1kb file in a 25mb rar file from drellisdee.
Where do I put it and how do I exicute it?

EDIT:
I opened each rar file (common & 96DPI) with WinRAR and placed the unhide.bat file inside the rar folder, clicked the file, closed the app.
Same results..

I have no luck unraring and reraring. This time I get about 75 error messages.
Oh well I will just have to wait for the real files to get uploaded..

cac2us when you rar back up you need to go inside the main folder and select all and rar inside that folder. Then the new rar will be inside that folder. You were probly raring the main folder which will result in a folder inside folder in the new rar.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

96DPI have been updated. Apparently, I only re-rarred back into my other rar so the attribs didn't change. I created another one and checked, this one should be good to go.

Also, the .BIN - .bin shouldn't matter, but I will update my XIPKitchen just the same to make it .BIN. :D

I must have something adjusted in the settings for WinRAR that is giving the issue.
But thank you mattsm & lmiller1708 for the much needed support..
For now I will skick to just licking the spoon & building LED bulbs and Motion Timer circuits.
Hey joojoobee666, is there a chance that 21874 or newer is in the conversion stage??

I was planning on 21874, but have not had time yet. All depends on available time. But I should definitely have it up by Friday. I am currently NOT planning to do 23085, since 23504 seems to have all the features and what not.

You are STILL receiving the error?

I believe Windows Smartphones (non-touch) have the start button at the bottom, are they merging non-touch layout with touch ui and apps?

The 192DPI now contains the WVGA files as well. The option.xml will filter those out based of of the device resolution set in the devicebase txt file. All other usual notes apply.

The XIP rar contains XIPs for the Apache, Herman, Kaiser, Titan, Victor and Vogue, all are spinlock patched except for the Apache. The Apache XIP is now LZX enabled (thx to Drellisdee) as well.

Warning! If these files are used in any other kitchen other than PPCKitchen, please be sure that you fix the file attributes BEFORE or DURING cooking, otherwise problems will ensue (see FIX here). I have attached the removed packages as well if you do use these in another kitchen.

Thanks to Da_G for the goods! :headbang:

To manually fix the common rar you currently have without redownloading, extract the mshtml.dll file from browsingie\mshtml.dllold in the common.rar to your desktop (or wherever), then add it back int to the browsingie package and save the new rar.

Alternatively if you do NOT want to recook, use the cab fix at this post here -> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...92#post1267392

I can tell you that they have been working very hard on this. There is fixing to be a major update with ppck. From what I here this update is gonna be major. As for Rhodium, I don't think it will be in this update but there will be one following it for the Rhodium. I just don't know the timeline on it. There is alot of testing going on now.

joojoobee666 11-06-2009 10:47 AM

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Yes, as mattsm said, things are coming along nicely. No timeline is known yet. When it's done it's done, since most of us are doing this all in our spare time. The updates to PPCKitchen are gonna be awesome, I can tell you that much, and I am making it a goal to also have the Rhodium and RhodiumW support ship with that update. (Thanks to Mattsm for the help with that so far ;))

If all goes as planned and no major hitches are found, PPCKitchen will be building XIPs on the fly, NO MORE XIP PORTING NEEDED! (We have successfully tested this, even for a nuekernel Titan XIP, so so far, so good.) It will also be recmodding modules on the fly so it can support both 6.1 and 6.5 kernels with the same source files. There are some other features coming as well, a lot of them behind the scenes, but overall, it should be a WHOLE LOT easier to use and well worth the wait. (which hopefully shouldn't be too much longer ;))

For further updates, just check out the main page at http://www.ppckitchen.org/ as updates will be posted there.
