thank you....I tried it, but I'm meeting a road block, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the xip but when trying to create the OS.nb I get this error in the cmd window:

any chance someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, and maybe point me in the right direction or something like that? ](*,)

so I resolved that problem, I used a different os.nb my rom folder, but the rom doesn't boot.....sigh.

can someone tell me what could be some of the major causes of why a cooked rom won't boot?

so I tried again, and got the in the buildpkg.wrn

what does that mean? and it must be whats causing my rom to be unbootable....right?

make sure you have wincenls_WWE somewhere, and that modules are being relocated

thank you for the fast responce....I have WinCENSL_WWE in sys the folder, but um, how would I know that the modules are being relocated?

I also had the 3346***** dsm in sys folder too, I just put it in the xip folder and will try cooking it again.


EDIT:
repositioning the dsm didn't do anything to the rom....

question: I"m using the ".VM" folder and shell32.exe and shellres.dll from a WM6 rom. would that cause problems with the boot up?

Can you please post a PIC of this "6.5 dialer" I have a VGA device so it probably wont work but i am curious to see what it looks like... Thanks.
