S2P Issue
 

I have an issue wity the newest slide 2 play (5.8). For some reason, when I turn the backlight off during a song, I can't stop, fast forward, or rewind with my hardware buttons. I have the Alltel HTC Touch Pro. Does anyone know what's going wrong? Thanks!

that happens because the device is in standby when the backlight is off you would have to change your unlock buttons to change this but the screen would come on

Has always been that way or just started?

Well, it was always that way on the Touch Pro. But when I had the vogue, my hardware buttons would work while the device was in standby, and I was able to change tracks without having to activate the backlight. This feature was the main reason I kept S2P.
