I just get the error: "Error during streaming! Reason: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

damn....
Actually, I forgot to mention that I'm in Canada....they've also shut off free accounts for anywhere outside the UK or US....

Now there are no streaming services like this left for Mobile in Canada...

Re: Forget Pandora.. use this!

This thread is a bit dated, but I found it on a search. I downloaded the latest last.fm mobile app and it installed fine, and I could log in and everything. However, when I typed in an artist, it said "Only a subscriber can tune radio..." or something along those lines. I don't have to subscribe online to listen to anything, why on mobile?

Who cares, just do it. You have to subscribe to use Last.FM on Xbox live too.

Re: Forget Pandora.. use this!

I kept getting "Error during streaming! Reason: Could not retrieve playlist."

Started to make a playlist on LastFM web site, but noticed this statement:
"Subscribers can listen to playlists once they contain at least 45 playable tracks by 15 different artists."

So I click on the "Subscribers" which was highlighted and it looks like you need to pay a fee for mobile streaming.
http://www.last.fm/subscribe

Now I have used the pc in the past for lastfm, and the sound is awesome which I use at home.

I think it has more to do with the program not being updated, because I've been using Mobbler (awesome s60 last.fm client) on my gf's Nokia N97 and it has and is working just fine without a subscription.

Ah Windows Mobile...if only you weren't so lame.
