No, that hasn't changed & never really mattered much to me. I fail to see how "make the next left on Elm in 200' " is a whole lot different than simply "make the next left in 200' " with a turn pop-up showing
you exactly where to go.
I have a Garmin unit built into my truck that does use TTS & I sometimes run both that & GarminXT together. I never even notice (or care) that one does TTS & the other doesn't. IMHO, GarminXT blows away iguidance in every other area so living without TTS seems rather trivial to me.
