Howzit! This might not interest toomany peeps here but I thought I'd just mention it.

Go to that URL and download keyhole tv to watch live Japan regular broadcast TV on your PC. There's also a download for PPC's. I am currently using it on my Touch Pro but have one problem. The app works very well but is very sparse inthe sense of usability. The main problem is that the app itself doesn't have a way for it to remain running. IE your ppc will suspend as usual if set to do so. 10sec, 30sec, whatever. I guess I could set it to remain on for a ong period manually but was wondering if the hackers in here had a better way to do this.

Oh btw, the app for PPC is just an .exe that you run from your phone. No install or anything.

Hey! whats up man! BTW, I got the IME stuff working really good with the one you showed me. couple of reg edits and boom! all gooood. Anyways, These are the channels that you would have without cable or anything. Which are all the major networks that broadcast all the mainstream stuff,(drama's,news,variety).

The Main Networks are:
Fuji TV = channel 174
TV Tokyo = channel 48
Nihon TV= channel 162
MX TV = channel 4
TBS = channel 88
NHK = (like PBS) channel 35
TV Asahi = channel 97

There are a few radio and one off channels. It works pretty good but kinda low quality. I kinda like it just to be on in the background to make it feel like I'm in Japan. hehe.

ha even though i didn't go with the input method u suggested, it helped me find that other one from xda.. so thanks cause it's been working great.
the japanese tv is pretty sweet too... i'm loving it. i too wish there was something to keep the screen on cause i have it set to low numbers. I might be switching to phone alarm soon, so maybe i can make a profile to always keep the backlight on and open keyhole tv at the same time.... other than phonealarm, i don't know anything else that'll make it easy.

i did a search for an english program guide and couldn't find one either! i'll update if i find one tho... for now, i'm glad to see japanese tv that's not from a dvd... it's been a long time. thanks.
