Exclamation check this TID BIT of info i uncovered about " Alltel TP

On the Alltel version of the HTC Touch, there is no JAVA installed or available for installation. After much frustration & research, I found that instead of JAVA, Alltel chose to use BREW (a JAVA competitor).

The end result is that to use apps, Alltel wants you to purchase (no free ones listed) games/apps/music from their own website.

The only way to use JAVA apps on an Alltel HTC Touch is to download the MIDletManager and install them. Unfortunately, this means you can't use any of the reconfigured TouchFLO buttons.

anyway to fix this and appy Java and brew etc
kinda would like to logg in to chat rooms ?? helloooo nurse!!!!!
