I downloaded the trial and played with it some; a center button push simulates a mouse click (on my TP). When the cursor speed is increased to the mid range it really can be pretty useful for thumb-only situations. It seems that a rate limiting issue is the slap-happy inaccuracy of the d-pad, but it seems to be a useful app nevertheless . . .

Really?! So you are saying you can open up the dialpad, navigate around to digits using the pointer and hit the center button on each digit to dial?

That definitely doesn't work for me.

Hitting the center button does something, but I can't tell what. Sometimes it opens a menu or moves the cursor, it definitely doesn't select what's under the cursor.

Anyone else tried?

Yeah . . . in fact I tried that exact thing. I went to the phone application, then used the Dpad to move the pointer over each number of the phone# I wanted to dial, pressed the center pad (enter) when the pointer covered the selected number. After the entire # was entered in, I then pressed the 'phone' key (bottom left button on Dpad) to dial the number . . .

Interesting. That definitely doesn't work for me. I guess something else I'm running could be conflicting, but I don't know. I don't think there are any settings in the program that could affect that.

I'm not sure I'd have kept VirtuaMouse anyhow, but I'm still stumped as to why a center button click doesn't simulate a mouse click on my TP.
