I don't suppose anyone has found a way to integrate WeatherPanel w/ Mobile Shell, have they? I wouldn't think SPB would want to allow it, but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask...
This just looks SO much better than SPB Weather, but I miss having the today plugin icon and the now screen weather icons automatically update... |
You can have WP in a tab if that is what you mean???

I think he means integration with the Now screen weather icon and the Shell weather tab icon.
I believe the Now screen weather icon is independent, so it doesn't matter if you don't use their stripped down version of Spb Weather. As far as having WP on a Shell tab, yes you can, however... the tab icon will not update according to the current weather. |

When I use WeatherPanel, the weather icon on the Now screen is always a "Cloudy Sun" and has "N/A" under it. Quote:
It's too bad that SPB Weather isn't as skinnable as WeatherPanel. Of course, WeatherPanel is just so good there's little reason not to use it... I'm just afraid that at some point it's going to stop working and without any developer support it will just die... |
Ok, gotcha. :)

Weather Panel Junior
I love your work Storyr. I have made some mods to your screen. Rearranged some thing and center the city on the other screens. I also made the camera button invisible to clean it up and you can still access it with WP Pilot or touch the screen in that corner. When the invisible button is pressed the blue camera button appears. Here are some screen shots.
These pictures are the extended version I did for people who use phone alarm and only want the weather. http://upload8.postimage.org/939719/Screen032.jpg http://upload8.postimage.org/939730/Screen034.jpg http://upload8.postimage.org/939734/Screen035.jpg http://upload8.postimage.org/939741/Screen036.jpg http://upload8.postimage.org/939744/Screen037.jpg http://upload8.postimage.org/939749/Screen038.jpg [/img] |
