Any chance you are running Spb Phone Suite? I'm trying to rule out software conflicts. This is the only program that I used on my Vogue and my TP. The ARCsoft and outlook button bug is by far the most annoying thing ever. I wonder how many "my messaging buttons stopped working" threads will start popping up.

i just spent the last couple hours trying different ones from CG and using info from Arcsoft 3x you said worked and couldnt get anything to work while editing the registry.. good luck to anyone who can make it work i really liked playing with the updated arcsoft!

I'd love to get this working. I have no Picture Mail installed (I did, but I was able to uninstall it fine, it's not listed in Outlook anymore at all). I can send through Arcsoft wonderfully. However, I get no notification of new incoming MMS (not text, no actual mms... nothing). On a Touch Pro, stock ROM stuff.

Any advice? Thanks!

Followed OP's directions and it works perfectly on my Touch Pro.

If wondering how I got PictureMail originally back then when I had my Mogul, I activated a Samsung flip phone that enabled PictureMail and then switched my ESN back to my Mogul.

nope just tflo3d. But i agree with you that the lockups with poutlook are annoying and to me its a dealbreaker as i need my email much more than picmail which i receive rearely.

i did get it to receive the actual picture one time but not since, which is odd.

i also have the problem above that once i got rid of sprint's app and used arcsoft that the phone would light up like there is a message and then nothing.

it seems a lot of people are getting a lot of different results but im using sprint's app for now as it does just work until this is worked out somehow to work every time. I have a sneaking suspicion that this has a lot to do with how youre picturemail is set up on Sprint's end also because there are different setups from the old receive as text versus the newer setup to come into sprint's app. Something with provisioning on sprint's side because a lot of us had to reprovision our picturemail once the diamond came out to not receive as texts, so there is obviously some differences

I have both SENDING and RECIEVING working on a Touch Pro. I posted the 15 minute howto in the TP forum:

I don't know about lockups yet... But it does send and recieve so far without any problems using the old version that used to work on the Apache and Mogul

Hey all,

Glad to see many of you are getting it to work as per my OP. However, has anyone noticed that all picture messages (and some txts) are now flagged as urgent?

I see the 'message importance" option when I go to each individual message, but can't seem to find out how to turn it off all together...

Anyone?

I can get the old ver 3.0.6 working on my Sprint Mogul but it causes lockups and slowdowns after sending MMS, also not threaded I have tried to get the newer version 5.0.70.24 to work, seems like it sends but the recipient does not get the message nor does the voice recording function work. I am willing to play around a bit more with this to get it working any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

not sure what i did wrong but i do know my WM is 6.0

Question, does version 3.0.6.xx that you're using send video as well as picture mail? I'm tweaking around with ver 5.0.70.24 and seem to have it working but just for pics, anyone who wants to help with this thanks!

You have v5.0.70.24 working on Sprint sending and recieving? What did you do to get it working, where did you find the cab and what ROM are you using? I'm working on a TP, but heck its the same software.

I can send with no errors, but the message never delivers. The logs say there is no from number or date. So I'm thinking its a missing file somewhere that some ROMs just happen to have.

Here is a cab I made with the Arcsoft version posted in the first post with all the registry edits included in it already. It should work perfectly "out of the box" right after install.

I installed your cab in my Mogul, but can find no MMS account in Messaging, after a soft restart, although there is now an MMS Confuration option in the text messaging menu.

Any tips? still not able to send an MMS.

installed cab posted above and it works. however, i am getting the 4-5 sec delay when entering text messages inbox now and that is a real PITA. Also, every once in a while i also am getting a much longer delay or complete freeze when trying to enter text messages (poutlook). It will go away without a soft reset if I run Task Manager program (don't even have to close any application).

unless this delay is solved, it is unusable for me. Hope you all can figure this delay out.

Yea, that tends to happen no matter how this Arcsoft MMS is installed.... It's nice, however, being able to send from context menus in the ROM!

That's exactly what I was gonna ask, there's a poster saying it works on a Touch Pro, but there's also one saying that it doesn't. Seems I'll be removing the 3.x.x and trying the new one shortly.

correct! I've had no problems sending AND receiving with this version. I like it because it integrates better with the OS.

I just installed the updated 5.0 version of arcsoft on my touch pro and I love it. Works great and is much more integrated into the OS. Very very nice.

Sadly, like before I can send but nothing is received. :( I think the issue is that I've had Picture Mail installed. Even once uninstalled, I don't get any notifications of Picture Mail/MMS at all. I think if I could find a way to go back to before I ever installed PM (when I got notifications of MMS) it might work. I just don't want to hard reset. Edit: Per below, maybe not. I dunno.

Just tested the 5.0 version on my Touch and no go on receiving mms. Still receiving as a link to Sprint pic mail via sms :(

Update: Just for ****s n giggles did a hard reset and tested....same thing :(

Well I have found so far that the one here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=473296

which was posted above works but about as consistant as Sprint picture mail app. First time I tried it I could send and recieve. Last night I could send and like some have noticed, it says it sent, but it's never recieved. I don't know what to make of it...I am starting to think that Sprints picture mail app is not the real source of the problem but lies with Sprints service in general.
