Cleaning up files....What type of file is
 

I am cleaning up some files....What type of file ends with .vol? I have 8-10...can I delete them safely?

those are your databases for contacts, calender, email etc. as far as I know there may be one or two you could safely delete, but you will loose the data in that database. use s-ktools to see how many records are in each one. If you delete one and it's a important one to the system you may not boot any more, otherwise it will recreate itself next time you (or any other process) tries to access them, when recreated of course they would be blank (empty).

you should check out memaid it will clean your phone very nicely and do it with out the worry of deleting something you need
