Fax on PPC?

i tried to search this, but fax is too short for the search engine so if its been answered somewhere else im sorry, just point me in the right direction....

i was wondering if it is possible to use my ppc as a fax modem in windows or possibly a client on the phone (windows preferred).

I tried looking for this mamy times but its seems CDMA will not support FAX tones. If you are on a GSM network then it should work. I use SCANR.com its free and lets you send jpgs as a fax via email.

Re: Fax on PPC?

I think your only shot is a email fax service like efax or interfax. they are not free but about $9.95/mo + .07 per page is cheap if you need it. I looked for several hours for what your asking for but never found anything.

it says theres a free fax though.. the 1.99 is premium fax... is there a catch to sending free faxes? says you can send two a day, 1-3 pages... not bad if its true

Re: Fax on PPC?

on a sidenote. if you add a wildcard (*) before/after your searches it should allow you to search things like fax...
