USB Input program for Windows Mobile

http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7818.html
Quote:
Great program that allows you to use any USB mouse and keyboard with your Windows Mobile phone! Great solution although the problem may be: how to connect USB mouse and keyboard to a Windows Mobile phone if your existing cables don't support it...

More information from the vendor follows.

Teksoft launched the first public release of its USB HID Driver, named USBInput.

With USBInput, you can easily connect USB keyboards or mouses to your Pocket PC's USB Host connector, and start using your favorite input device.

Plug-in a simple optical USB Mouse and get a real cursor on the screen of your mobile device. Or connect an USB Keyboard and type emails faster, browse the internet easier, or play games more comfortable.

USBInput brings more fun and more productivity! USBInput 1.5 comes as a free trial version available on www.teksoftco.com

Re: USB Input program for Windows Mobile

I like this company... Their bluetooth mouse driver is great...

So the question remains, does this only work with certain WM phones with the PC end of a USB plug built in, or if we can use an adapter of some sort so it will work on any WM phone with a mini USB plug...

I would love it if some one could get a HTC to do this, but I think it's a hardware limitation. I think the Axim's had a funny little adaptor for this, but I was an IPAQ user, now gone HTC.. why, I'm still not sure..

Has anyone got this to work with a HTC phone yet? Also is this only for a keyboard and mouse or will it work for other HID devices (such as a touchscreen monitor)?
