I used a program called GroupSMSApplication on the Mogul. Seems to "run" on the Touch Pro, but I haven't sent an official mass text with it yet.

I just noticed in the registry, with the new version, it has your saved groups in there. I haven't tried backing them up to see if I can restore them later, but it looks like it can be done. On the old version it was saved somewhere that I could not find it. I think it was actually in the executable itself.

I would think that powersms leaves a bigger footprint on your phone then grpsms.. because of all the extra options....

scheduling text msgs?
 

something missing from win mo that i loved on my SEP910, was the ability to compose a txt msg and then schedule a time for it to be delivered... so for example....

i get on the train and have no signal but i can write my txt msg and schedule it to send in an hour when i know i'll be out of the tunnels.... this way i dont forget to send it

or compose an txt to as a wake-up call to someone and make sure it gets delivered at 5am without me having to get up....

its def a convienience thing, if someone knows how or if there is a program that does it i would love to get my hands on it...

I've been looking for the same thing, it would be a really great feature to have for the same reasons you listed, hopefully someone knows of a program.
