Re: Sprint officially releases Picture Mail for windows mobile
I'm having a weird problem with my mogul... Sprint Picture Mail works fine, but then my phone goes into sleep mode and when I wake it up, the "START" in the top left says "PICTU...", the taskmanager icon in the top right is an "ok" box, and the softkey labels on the bottom of the screen are not visable.
Clicking "PICTU..." opens up the start menu, clicking on the "ok" box doesn't do anything, and I can access the softkeys by pressing the actual buttons but not the touch screen. I have to click on the start menu, select "Today" and it goes back to normal except for the softkeys... I gotta play around with the menus a few times to get them to reappear. Any ideas on what program might be conflicting with it? Currently loaded onto the today screen: Pocket Digital Clock Spb Phone Suite NueMinutes ProgramLauncher I still get the same problem when I disable all of the above, and I've soft reset the phone several times, and uninstalled/reinstalled Picmail atleast 3 times. |
Re: Sprint officially releases Picture Mail for windows mobile
It works on my mogul but i have a few issues with the actual program.
1. When I get a picture/media mail message I too don't get a link. So what do i have to do? A. Dismiss message. B. Open messaging. C. Click on new message. D. Click on view picture mail. Does everybody have to go through all those steps? 2. Why didn't they create another account in our messaging category? There's no inbox/sent folders for me to view. Someguys sMMS program was great with that. 3. I guess when I send these guys I should assume they'll go through like a text message (no confirmations). All in all I still think Someguys sMMS is better. I'm sure sooner or later he'll figure how to send media. |
Re: Sprint officially releases Picture Mail for windows mobile
I still don't understand creating an application to send picture mail instead of setting up a REAL MMS server..... Sure, it's better than nothing but lets get the real deal already. I'd have expected this app back in early 2000 not late 2008.

yeah, no record it was ever sent. Doesn't show up in the Outbox, or Sent box. uh, o-kay...
