Internet Passthrough

I have been having issues when my Windows Mobile 5 device is connected to laptop to be able to access the internet from my windows mobile device.

I have activesync set under connection settings "this computer is connected to automatic".

I am using activesync 4.5, device is windows mobile 5, aku 3.3.

Any suggestions

If you are using the USB cable to connect to your phone you need to make sure to uncheck the "Allow USB connecitons" on your ActiveSync whenever you want to connect to the internet thru your phone.

You launch the Modem or Internet Sharing program, hit start (Making sure that you are not already connected to the data service.. if you already have a session going, disable it via the Comms Manager then hit start) After hitting start the phone will dial up and after you are connected you then plug in the USB cable and open Internet explorer on your PC.. you should be online.
