Re: TF3D vs. WAD2
I used WAD2 on my Vogue and it was pretty cool once I got over the bugs. Currently rocking TF3D with a little SecondToday action parked on the left soft-key to get me to my beloved TodayAgenda.
It's a good setup so far, but I have a very short attention span and I know that syanni is cooking up a little something for WAD2 that I'm pretty excited about! Hope that helps! Myke... |

Re: TF3D vs. WAD2
I use WAD2 and love it. 2 Reasons. I can customize the UI exactly the way I want it. I was able to get rid of about 7 other apps for weather, battery/memory meters, new email/sms/voicemail indicators, etc.

Re: TF3D vs. WAD2
WAD definately takes time to configure, but for my PDA tweaker self I actually enjoys configuring WAD. I get tired of my current theme often so I modify it as I please. It you want to install and go, TF3D might suit your needs or maybe SPB mobile shell.

Re: TF3D vs. WAD2
+1 on that suggestion. I was running manilla2D until the novelty wore off & I realized it really limits what your system can/can't do (no weather panel etc) I went back to the fantastic Ultimate launcher I had been running previously. Then, since I had never tried it before & there are some awesome themes available for it I decided to try Mobile Shell. I installed that & DL'ed & installed rumball's beautiful Diamond theme. This setup has turned out to be awesome. I have it set up so I can be running in the diamond theme, but swipe my finger down the screen & it will instantly switch to the UL setup. Then a soft button press jumps it right back to MS. ~John Last edited by jmorton10; 10-17-2008 at 06:40 AM. |
