RSS "addresses" are not the same thing as the website you're viewing. Go to the website that you want to subscribe to and look for the RSS icon. Clicking on this will usually bring up a selection to select from. For example if you go to CNN.com and select their RSS feed section you will get to select from Top Stories, World, U.S., Sports, etc. Select the feed(s) that you want and enter the appropriate URL into your RSS program on your phone. For example to select Top Stories at CNN you'd enter the following:
http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_topstories.rss Most sites are set up the same. Don't hesitate if you have any additional questions. late, Coz

Ahhh, okay! Thanks a lot, Coz. It kinda sucks, though... 'Cause the program keeps telling me to connect to the internet to update data, but I AM connected. I've tried EVDO, WiFi, ActiveSync, but it never updates. It's a shame, too... Cool program.

Here's what you need to do:
Select Menu (soft right key) from your today menu. Select Preferences then select Today Settings. Tap on NewsPanel and the options button to the right should highlight. Tap on options. You're now in the NewsPanel menu. Select Options and scroll down...select Auto Update Data box. That's it. No one really knows how often NewsPanel updates. However I'm also using WeatherPanel and I have that set to update every hour. I've noticed that NewsPanel updates when WeatherPanel updates. Hope this helps and makes sense. late, Coz |
