I also have flashed roms a few times and have NEVER had problems reinstalling it. When I purchased the sling mobile, I copied down my finder id. Everytime I would update roms, I would manually reenter the finder id BUT once I entered it in, I was up and running without problems.

Just wanted to share this with sling users..the new update software sucks and i have been having nothing but problems ever since i downloaded. i call tech support and they said it would be a few days before some geek calls me back with a possible solution. I asked for a free reg key for my mogul and with out hesitation they emailed me one for FREE.

hope this helps some one else..

the new softwear keeps asking to update but i already have the lates version..if anyone else has this problem an a solution please contact me with more info
