I just installed it, but I don't see any differences from the previous version.

wasn't the previous version 1.6? I went to their site and that is what is posted....where did you get a new version?

it is now 1.6.0.104, the previous version was 1.6 but not 104.

I have been using it all morning & see no difference whatever (might be bug fixes, but the previous version worked fine for me)

Previous version was 1.6.0.100, and now it is 1.6.0.104. If you were to open up with your sling mobile on the old version, it should give you a reminder to tell you that a new version is available. At least it did on mine anyway.

I have gotten it installed, but have not had any chance to test it however. If someone can find out what is exactly being fixed, I'm sure the rest of us would all appreciate it.

i used to beta test the mobile slingplayer, but i havent recieved any news or info about this version. they have private forums for betas too, there you would find changelogs and such. i have no clue about this one.

as long as it works and is smooth.

I bougth slingplayer mobile for $30 after buying and setting up my slingbox. With all the bloody roms updates on my Mogul, I needed to call in and reactivate the program every three or four days. Finally got sick of it and switched to a full activated version. Never had a problem since.

They really need to fix the issue with device specific activation as it takes too long to get the, to respond to send a new activation code as each works only once.

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about??

I bought the mobile app months ago. I have upgraded ROMs & even switched from one XV6800 to a different one & never had any problem reinstalling SlingMobile??

I also have flashed roms a few times and have NEVER had problems reinstalling it. When I purchased the sling mobile, I copied down my finder id. Everytime I would update roms, I would manually reenter the finder id BUT once I entered it in, I was up and running without problems.

Just wanted to share this with sling users..the new update software sucks and i have been having nothing but problems ever since i downloaded. i call tech support and they said it would be a few days before some geek calls me back with a possible solution. I asked for a free reg key for my mogul and with out hesitation they emailed me one for FREE.

hope this helps some one else..

the new softwear keeps asking to update but i already have the lates version..if anyone else has this problem an a solution please contact me with more info
