Re: Skyfire Version 0.80 Beta

As Mike stated above, ignore the cab name. I downloaded from the SMS sent and I have the .8 version now.

Just sent myself an sms...got .80 running right now on my ppc. I like the new layout on their homepage. Will play around and see what's new and differnet.

Can't seem to get this to work though:

Home screen integrationallows you to add a Skyfire search and URL bar to your Windows Mobile Today screen, so you can enter what you are looking for right away without first starting Skyfire.

you will, but you probably won't be able to use it.

I just did an install on a clean system & now it won't accept my log-in.

There is a 3 page thread now on their forum with people having the same problem.

late,

I haven't been able to get the search bar to show up on my Today screen. I'm not able to change the location from Mountain View, Ca either.

Edit:

After several attempts, I was able to change my location.

Edit part deux:

It reverted back to Mountain View after closing the app.

I'm not sure I was accepted to the beta. I signed up a couple weeks ago, but was never in the Beta. I really wanna try this out!! Grr!
