S2P question??

When I listen to mp3's through my S9 BT headset, I always lock the phone with S2U2 & then turn off the screen.

Today, when I was trying to do that, S2P would crash about 20 seconds later. If I used WMP, I had no problem & it would continue playing.

Does anybody know what would cause this??
