I've been trying this out for about a week. Really like it. It is a potentially very useful application. Especially interested in the "Group SMS" feature. Share DaRedLight's concern that not everyone in the group maybe recieving the message. I'm going to try to organise a few tests in my work place.

If anyone has any success, please post your findings.

I really like this software, particularly the group feature, scheduled texting, and being a statistics junky i enjoy the cool stats--I most likely will buy a license in the end.

My suggestion for a new feature, which is mostly just my wish to have the ultimate SMS control, would be something that could synch the SMS back to the pc, either as say entries in outlook, or maybe just something on the pc that could read the SMS backup files powerSMS makes. There are other programs that do this more or less, but for me it'd be great to see it in this software for a all in one kinda solution. Keep up the good work!

Ok, did the tests on the 'Group Message' feature and no apparent problems. Really like this particular function. Intend to purchase this software and would do so for this feature alone.

So you were able to send a single text, that was received by all members in your particular group? If so could you be specific on what you did, so I may learn.

My "beta" version expired. Now it looks like their page lists it as paid software. Darn, it was pretty neat to play around with, but not something I would have the need to purchase.

DaRedLight, I simply selected the "Group Message" option, created a new group entitled "Work" and selected my work colleagues from my contacts list. When the list was complete I entered "Done". Then I hit on the "Work" group to be allowed to enter a text to the entire group. I asked them all to respond to ensure they did indeed receive the text and they all did. Tried it several times to different groups. All messages were recieved. The built in app only allows me to text six numbers at one time and they all have to be entered individually every time. This saves so much time and effort. I trust this is a satisfactory answer. If not, I'll be happy to try again.

I figured out what the issue was...I was using Cody PPC Threaded SMS, somehow I was being prevented from Grouping my SMS whenever I initiated it. After uninstalling it, and using the built in Threaded SMS through the stock 6.1 ROM, everything works fine. Unfortunately, I don't like the stock Threaded SMS, I lose some key features as well as asthetics!

I agree.

That is why I still use Vito SMS-Chat even though I'm running WM 6.1.
