Does WMWifiRouter still work?

So does it work on Sprint, or has Sprint fixed this? I would figure out on my own, but right now I don't have a PPC.

Heck yeah it works like a champ. I have been using it for the last 3 weeks as it is my only source of internet and haven't had a problem yet. What did you mean by "or has Sprint fixed this?"

Sweet!, I mean fixed as like fixed it so that you had to use their (Sprints) PAM plans for $15 monthly.

Hey I have the PPC 6800 and it doesnt work on my phone for nothing...I have done everything to get it to work and it doesnt...Is it possible for some one to led me in the right direction?...

So far I have in stalled it with wifi on and off..and both ways it doesnt work...I dont know wat else to do..

Can you describe further the behavior you are seeing?

I am using a rather old version of it (non-paid) and it works perfectly. Never had any issues whatsoever.

I am on WiM 6.0..When I install wifirouter 0.91 it does nothing..It shows on the screen "Connected to WMWifiRouter Ready" but when I access my wireless network listing on my laptop I dont see it in the list of other wifi connections..I even look on my iPod Touch listings and I dont see it there. Like I said...it says that its connected but nothing happens. As for the Youtube video..That was the video I watched to help me with the process and it still doesnt work...It could probably be wat the other guy was saying about the having an other data plan or network...I had WM6.1 but went back to 6.0 because it was pretty slow when conneting to GPS..and when I wasnt able to connect using WifiRouter/...I saw some post saying that it wont work if you have WM6.1...so now on 6.0 it still doesnt work for me...But I do have a question...The name that will come up in the wireless connection box on the PC is "WifiRouter" correct? I get a lot of connections in my area and my laptop and iPod are usally conneted to the same connection...I just dont know wat to do...Im ready to jus give up on it..I would like to be able to use my iPod Touch as far asing suring the net while Im at work because my job intranet blocks off to many site..and that sucks big time..so if anyone could please help...it would be great...Thanx

Mine works as well. No problems with it. I even installed it with the wifi off and it still works. turn the wifi button on the side on before you use the program and you should be good from there. I hope this helps you.

Do you have WinMo 6.1 on your phone? I have heard that the older free version 0.91 doesn't work with Windows 6.1

I am not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure that I read it somewhere.

I have version 0.91 and it works for me, but I am on Windows Mobile 6.0 right now.

those of you that it works on might have an older phone and be on the older data plan. I bought a new palm treo800w a couple of weeks ago and the data plan my mogul is on is no longer available, the new plan sprint has (powervision)won't seem to allow ics to connect without pam plan. Having said that i understand the latest version of wmwifirouter isn't compatable with the treo. To boil it down i don't know whether its the phone, the software, or the plan but wifirouterwon't work on a 2 week old treo. I would love to know which one is the culpret. I'll need to replace my mogul someday but i don't want to lose tethering capability
