Free Sms text messaging...

Did I read here about a software that enables your phone to send and receive text messages (Not e-mails) for free (SMS Messages)... Using Data only.. ??
Like if I don't have the text messaging plan/bundle... this software would allow me to send and receive for free without being charged $0.15 per message...

Or did I dream this...? Was it here..? Where am I..? Is this real..? LOL
