I hope so. The last one was horrible. it keep messing up my phone and my wife's Mogul. had to uninstall.

I did. Works pretty well actually, and looks very slick. We'll see if it stays that way.


EDIT: Actually, it seems to crash a lot. Not visibily, but it will just close. Although that seems to be a widespread issue with my phone so Im not sure its an issue with this program.

. . . have been playing around with it a bit today, so far it works as advertised, but --- how do I activate it from within an application ?? (without having to migrate to the program icon and re-start). I have the HTC Touch Pro (CDMA) and cannot manage to successfully map it to any hardware key (d-Pad). Do I have to purchase a program such as AEBPlus to do this ??

Yes, There seems to be no freeware program that would work.

Double Launcher is shareware and may fit the bill if all you need is a single key mapped. The demo version of Double Launcher only adds support for assigning extra applications to one button. The full registered version fully enables multiple assignments to all the hardware launch buttons, and can be purchased for $9.95.
