Interesting post about syncing Kinoma with Itunes:
http://blog.kinoma.com/2009/06/great...h-kinoma-play/ I'm going to try this when I get home.

Re: Kinoma media player
Not sure if it's been posted or not(or even if its new). But I clicked on the app store and there was an update today. Once the update was applied I also noticed that there was an update to advanced settings. Seems like last fm is working now. I don't have a login so I can't tell, but I never got a login screen before.

Just a couple weeks after we gave you the biggest Kinoma Play release since we introduced it, we all chipped in and got you a great little update! Kinoma Play’s new Twitter app is a big hit with customers, and this update makes it even faster and more reliable. Not only did we fix an issue where it could seem ”hangy” (sorry to get all technical!) on slower connections, but it’s now faster thanks to more efficient “conversations” with Twitter. Finally, this update makes it a snap to retweet (RT) your favorite tweets. ![]() Introduced in the last release, the new Advanced Settings app gives power-users a way to control some deeper settings, like which folders and which kinds of files Kinoma Play should manage. ![]() Improved orientation detection Not all G-Sensors are tuned alike, and we’ve found that some of the phones out there are a leeetle too sensitive. With this update, Kinoma Play performs some advanced signal processing* on the G-Sensor input to reduce false positives for orientation changes, which will make orientation changes seem less “twitchy” on those phones. (*Yes, it kind of is rocket science. You’re welcome!) But wait, there’s more!

Re: Kinoma media player
Guys, I have a couple of questions about this. I took the plunge and got the full version using trialpay (the Audible one, not a bad deal I just have to pay 8 bucks and then cancel by month's end). I have the Samsung Omnia, and I cant for the life of me figure out these two things:
How can I get a movie or song to stop playing? There is no stop button anywhere. Is my only option to close the app? Also, what would I use as the Home Button? All the Omnia has is a Talk button, End button, and an Action button in the middle. None of these seems to work. Another thing, I went into the Facebook app, I cant find a way to check my inbox in there? Or am I missing it? I will keep searching around for the answers on my own, but I figured Id ask for the heck of it. Thanks everyone! |
