I just bit the bullet and did a trialpay with blockbuster. This app is absolutely amazing.

Re: Kinoma media player

I have been using it for a few years now, and it is incredible. It is a one app for all. It is more the $30 they charge, plays everything, connects to everything. I love the Orb app in it alone. just incredible.

I understand that, however i never changed devices.

Re: Kinoma media player

Doesn't matter if you change devices, doing a hard reset deletes your registry, program files, etc, so to Kinoma, it's a new device. Just like installing Windows, you have to activate it again. I believe if you install it to an SD card or built-in external storage, then you might not have to re-activate every time you hard reset, but don't quote me on that.

Re: Kinoma media player

You don't need to reactivate after a Rom flash or hard reset if you backup/restore the Kinoma folders in Program files and Application Data. No need to restore the registry.

If you switch devices too often they want you to buy additional licenses. Which is bullshit.

Kinoma Play is licensed on a per-phone basis, and I think we have a pretty customer-friendly policy on switching devices. For example, you could change phones every couple months and it wouldn't be a problem.

Plus, our support folks are really quick at handling the occasional report about this. And if you really do use multiple phones simultaneously and can't live without Kinoma Play on all of them, send a "hello" to me at charles@ our domain and I'll see if I can't come up with a way to help.

Re: Kinoma media player

Hey Charles.. Kinoma was my favorite app on winmo for my Touch Vogue.. then my Diamond.. I switched to the Palm Pre last year and really missed Kinoma.. but now getting the HD2 on Wednesday and of course Kinoma will be the first program I install on it...
Anyway my question is.. about everyone I know including myself is obsessed with Justin.tv .. an addon/plugin for Justin in Kinoma would be fantastic.. has the issue ever come to the table or is it something even possible for Kinoma?
THanks..
Bill
