Wall St. Journal on your Touch

http://www.marketwatch.com/NewsComme...obile/Download

see above for link to d/l the software...

NOTE: You cannot d/l from the site above to your desktop/laptop PC, the d/l is ONLY good when done direct to your phone. So, follow the instructions, type in your mobile phone number and the link will be sent to your phone. Click on the link on your phone and the d/l will begin to your phone. For your convenience, I've zipped the cab and posted it later in this thread. The d/l error message occurs when you try to d/l the software to a PC instead of a PPC.

is there a cab you can post? When I tried to download from the link, it said my device is unsupported.... but I'm on Verizon's version of the touch. Now how ridiculous is that?!

Just change your IE identifier to be a supported model...

Re: Wall St. Journal on your Touch

I'm just wondering what is the difference between the sprint htc touch and the verizon htc touch (besides price, support, yadda yadda!!!) as to being a supported device.

Re: Wall St. Journal on your Touch

I have a Sprint HTC touch flashed with OMJ's 3.08 bell rom.
The site also says my phone is not supported.
A CAB would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wall St. Journal on your Touch

zip file attached to this post... unzip, load the cab on your PPC and tap to execute. I can tell you this works on my HTC Touch with WM6.1...

WSJ is a today screen plugin... when the app is opened you can switch (via the menu in the lower right corner) between Wall St Journal, Marketwatch and Barrons for news stories and get stock info on a 20 minute delay during market hours.
