TCPMP Developer

Who do I have to talk to in order for my TCPMP buttons to get a little bigger in landscape mode? It sucks when I'm driving and my phone is in the holder and I have to push the mini play button. I hate it!

Well. olegreg20 had a validate point. Too bad his delivery of his point caused it to be removed.

I hardly think it is responsible of any driver to be watching videos while driving. That is a great way to cause an auto accident and kill someone.

Why would you want watching videos to be more convenient for you while driving?

Yeah, not a good idea. But maybe Slick1020 is only using TCPMP to play music, in which case, it's not a good idea to be looking at the PDA screen for any button, tiny or large. Player functions can be mapped to hardware buttons, which can be felt and easily pressed without taking eyes off the road. This is the main reason why some new phones like the Diamond or Instinct are no good to me, no feelable buttons!

Absolutely agree that TCPMP should not be used while driving. Where can I find a "working" version of TCPMP that works with the latest Sprint OEM ROM? Every version I have tried so far doesn't work.

well, now that cell phones and headsets have repealed the no earphones while driving laws, I just use my s9's while driving.... of course I'm also too lazy to fix/replace my broken car stereo.. their not the most comfortable headset, but the controls are well placed (kindof)

TCPMP is now "The Core Media Player" and it is nolonger free...

As for touching it while you are driving... it is unlawful to do so in MD, DC and VA

You could always skin your wmp to have larger buttons ( hopping that you are using it for music and not vid)

First off, some of you need to get a life.

Secondly, my Touch is used for Navigation and for listening to Music through my 2006 Honda Accord and 2007 Toyota Tundra stereo systems. There is no difference in me reaching over to change the station in my truck by hand and having to reach over and select a different song on my Touch.

Third, I live in Texas.

Fourth, I fly a 35 million dollar military aircraft. If I can multitask in my plane with insurgents shooting at me I can download a video to my phone and listen to it as I drive on a trip. I've never done that because there are far too many deer on the road here in Texas to try and watch a video and drive. I don't think the military is going to give my parents my insurance policy if I accidently die while driving and watching a video as opposed to perishing in combat.

And thanks for having my back MrGoodtunes!

You have insurgents shooting at you in Texas, hehehe, just joking but anyways I think the point of the post was to make the buttons easier to use which would make the program easier to use for more people in general.
