anyone notice how deeply integrated java is in Skyfire?? I can get on the yahoo games server and join a table.....jus can't play cause the table doesn't pop up. I jus see my name sitting there. java is in the browser, they jus need to give us full access to it.

i went along with the dowload link and got this message....
"Thanks for verifying your skyfire beta 2 sign up. We will contact you by email as soon as we launch beta 2. Currently, we are inviting beta 1 sign ups to download skyire. These are the people that signed up before march 1. Well get beta 2 going as soon as we can , but right now we do not have a firm date for launching beta 2. As soon as we do, you will be contacted and invited to download skyfire on a first signed-up., first invited basis. Thanks for your patience and interest in skyfire."
ummm im assuming i did something wrong lol.....someone care to tell me what i should do....and yes i did use the cnet100 code without caps

just do it again with the exact same info

i just did it 5 minutes ago, the first time i got the same message as you and after i re registered on the site i got a text with the d/l link. re do it woth the same thing and the cnet100 code and you should be good

yeah thanks i just went back through all the posts and found one that says to do that and i did it and it works fine......actually just went to edit my post haha

only thing i wish is that there was a way to make it so the browser would detect the camera on the phone....so then you could use it as a webcam

Yes this is what is exactly the problem....many of us have probably had the premium services block added to our text accounts to avoid those frivolous charges that occur from time to time..just as this poster stated once you call them and ask that they remove the premium services block ..all you have to do is resend the text for skyfire..and whalooooaaa...thanks again for this very usesful post..in fact I think this post is for valuable then the post they was made about this new beta access...

Click that second link and it will redirect you to a download page. Click it, create a PW, download, and log in.

okay I've been playing around with this thing for a little bit now (posting rom mogul via skyfire) I must say I am impressed. one question all you guys that have gone to you tube on this, how do you turn up the volume on that site, the volume slider won't work on the bottom of the active video and is at the bottom on mine (dammit) I can make it pop up but when I try to slide it all it does is scroll the whole page lol other than that issue the browser itself is really great.

Still works, I've been using ie for the last year so this is a huge upgrade. It's great that the keyboard comes up everytime you click on a box that needs to be filled in huge plus. Only thing I don't like is that you have to go to the menu to get to your favorites unlike ie you could just hold down on the screen to get to your favorites. But a huge huge plus over ie!
