On the other side of the coin, many sites render better on it especially when they use flash even compared to this build which i have tested. For example, sites like nba.com display correct on Skyfire, but with this version of Opera I still get the box saying you are using a older version of flash.

I agree about the nba.com rendering ect... but i think it's because skyfire is server based so you're basically getting a mirror of the true pc experience routed to your phone.... i hate the constant rendering/ sometimes pixelated unrendered areas when dealing with skyfire...

soon as flash is implemented seamlessly Opera will have no comp out of skyfire imo...

Re: (*[Sep-10-08]* Omnia Opera 9.5 Build 1957- *Flash Working*

Opera Mobile 9.5 w/ 1957 build and Flash 3.1 are quite impressive. However I still prefer the Skyfire all-in-one download and video playing operation. It plays flash video anywhere and quickly whereas Opera has significant delay and is picky upon where it will play flash.

Personal Note:
I use and prefer Opera and Skyfire for specific purposes but ultimately, seeing how Opera has been out for some time, requires numerous tweaks & downloads to run ideally while Skyfire is quite new with relative progress at a fraction of the time, I believe Skyfire will prevail with a terrific final release. Of course Opera will become a outstanding browser as well.

Of course time will tell and everyone will prefer a specific flavor...

Hmm just tested Opera on HULU.com and again got the "doesn't work with your flash version" which seems to happen more often than not.

I just noticed that when i go through PIE to the mobile youtube site, clicking a video now loads in media player and actually plays. Not sure if this has always worked?

I believe he is referring to WMP, which now streams video from youtube mobile. No longer need HTC Streaming media.

No links, but since i flashed to the new Sprint rom. WMP has streamed for me with no problems.

Updated first post with new cab link from herg62123. It has been tweaked.

i installed the axobject.ini, add operaIE7userAgent.reg file, and add uad=mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0b; Windows NT 6.0) file according to instructions in this cab below..

see if this helps.

all you need to do is change settings in opera to desktop file.

this one stores to main memory with updated files according to instructions: http://rapidshare.com/files/14458171...e.WWE.cab.html

don't forget to install flashlite 3.1 as well

UPDATE: I am able to watch youtube videos from www.youtube.com with no problems on at&t tilt( aka Kaiser with at&t wm6.1 rom official version) with no problems at all.

its a shame that i have to go back to build 405. This build adds some slick features but i hate the fact that the scrolling freezes and resumes from time to time... annoying as hell for me

Have you tried enabling smooth scrolling in opera:config? Turbo mode also fixes the freezing but screws up flash, aleast for me.
