I'd like to know this too, its a pain to wait for that box to disappear every time you scroll.
There's got to be a way to disable it in the opera:config settings.
Other than that this build is by far the best yet.

I was only able to get flash working with PIE when I switched to JD's Rom version 2.1. It worked without any issues. 25 Megs free on boot. I love Opera but only had one problem with the versions so far (9.5) i.e. I like the large text option for the Mogul when zoomed out, as it allows me to browse and read Google news and other websites in zoomed out mode, but I want to have the browser set to small text mode when I zoom in, in order to be able to fit more text on screen as it does a fantastic job of resizing columns to fit the screen. Anyone see a fix/hack for this ? Would make it a killer browser for the Mogul and other QVGA devices.

Will need to see how it performs in this regard on the Diamond (Sprint).

I don't really think this browser has gotten that much faster... seems just as slow as ever unless I'm missing something?

At least I don't get out of memory errors on Engadget anymore...

I found that if you turn turbo mode on in opera:config, it screws up flash. Anyone else experience this? I found a cool splash screen here. Works and looks better then the original one.

i know you need the new version of flash and remove ALL old version of flash to get this to work so my next question is this?

Does anyone hae this working with NFSFAN's custom rom. i know he cooks in flash 2.1 but is there a way to uninstall it or a reg edit. i know its a long shot but figured it was worth asking..

thanks

No knock on OPERA but SKYFIRE to me is the best by far!!!

I think Skyfire is ok, but for me it is limited. My biggest issue with it is the lack of download ability. Second, I find it slower to load sites up and the scrolling on pages is terrible with constant rendering. It also has no tab browsing.

On the other side of the coin, many sites render better on it especially when they use flash even compared to this build which i have tested. For example, sites like nba.com display correct on Skyfire, but with this version of Opera I still get the box saying you are using a older version of flash.
