You don't need a DST update for WP, it takes the date/time from the device so as long as the device is patched you should be ok.

Do you have it set to display the "updated" time?

Late,
Coz

I didn't do the patch till late this afternoon. Before the patch, WP is showing the updated time but the device is one hour late. The patch was easy as 123.

Late,
Coz
yep. i even double checked to see if my patches were installed by trying to install them again. it only had an option to repair or remove, so i'm guessing i did it right the first time. still no go. all the patches were just from the m$ site, right?

ok, get this... setting local time puts it one hour ahead. setting updated time puts it one hour behind. i like setting it to local time because it shows the time for the corresponding city (kind of like world clock).

is there a way to check on the device itself if updates were installed properly? thanks.

Did you follow all the steps on MS site for the DST update? After installing the CAB you needed to switch your time zone and then change it back to yours.

Remember updated time will show the time when WP last updated.

After you install an app at then it should actually tell you that the app was installed succesfully, then you click OK and are taken back to the Today screen.

thanks for everyone's responses. i've actually remember doing this step awhile back, but when i noticed weatherpanel was not updated, i went back to the MS website yesterday for the updates again. this step no long exists.

*update* alright! got it to work! i did install it correctly, but for some reason weatherpanel only kicked in correctly after i toggled time zones and use network time around. thanks again!
