Re: OctroVideo—Stream live video using your Windows OS phone
Need your help to figure this one - since it works on the phones that we have (Samsung I600, Treo 700w).
We have uploaded a new build v1.01 with some debug information. If someone can try it and send us feedback at support@octro.com , that would be great. Another thing, if you could go to Menu->Options->Preferences, and "reset" the capture size, and then try again it may start working. If it does, do let us know. |

Version 1.01 works on No2chem's custom rom on an HTC Titan. Thanks for the update. Its looking good. Maybe the frame rate can be increased in the future and the option for audio. Great program though!

Re: OctroVideo—Stream live video using your Windows OS phone
Thanks ggoldfingerd. We are going to be adding support for Audio soon.
Also, coming very soon is the ability to record video on the server. We have it in beta, and are looking to put it into production very soon. What sort of FPS are you getting on the Titan? Since, currently the phones don't have the DSP codecs or if they do, they don't allow access to developers, max FPS is a function of CPU speed. Octro Support Team |

Re: OctroVideo—Stream live video using your Windows OS phone
Can you provide some additional support options on your support page? After attempting to create an account, the page finally came back saying that my email was already registered. When I tried to use a second email account, it generated an error (wish I had taken a screen shot). When I attempted with the second email account for the second time, it came back with the message that the email was already registered.
Can you provide the ability to update a user's account based on their email id? TIA. |

Re: OctroVideo—Stream live video using your Windows OS phone
Octro -
I sent an email to your support concerning the ability to view the streamed content. I am unable to select a 'Image Size' - but when I select start streaming, it appears to be streaming video (from the phone). I am getting an applet failure on the website though: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/charliemouse/cambozola/Viewer (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(Unknow n Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$100(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader.findClass(Un known Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/charliemouse/cambozola/Viewer (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(Unknow n Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$100(Unknown Source) at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin.security.PluginClassLoader.findClass(Un known Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadCode(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin.AppletViewer.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Hopefully this helps. |
