HTC Diamond GUI

Has anyone got the GUI or Touch3D on their phone they can port for an Apache? I like the way it looks and it would be nice to have. I'm sure it won't run as nice on my phone as it does on the Diamond but I would still like to have it.

Re: HTC Diamond GUI

With all of the threads on here it's impossible to find anything. When I search for "Sprint Touch GPS," there won't be anything remotely close returned. I get stuff for themes and Apache or something completely random. Maybe a new search query would limit the amount of threads that don't need to exist. And if one person says there is a thread somewhere else for the subject, I don't need six persons telling me the same thing. I like s4ne_0n3. (s)he did something really nice, they posted a link for me to follow. Thank you s4n3_0n3

Re: HTC Diamond GUI

The reason why there are millions of threads is because people make new theads to ask first, rather than search first. Now it is imposible to search what ur looking for. 1 question = thousands of threads with the same question. I say, If the question is ask and answered, Remove any new threads with the same or relevant questions or topics.

Re: HTC Diamond GUI

That isn't such a bad idea. When someone comes to a forum with a question, and all they can find is the same question but would have to go through 100 threads plus the posts within the thread then how can someone honestly find what they are looking for even if they do search. I searched google for my answer before posting and never found the answer. I searched xda-developers and couldn't find the answer. It wasn't until s4n3 0n3 posted the link did I start to find answers. I don't want to have to create a thread when there are so many out there with the same question but most are abandoned or never answered. It's frustating to go through so much for a simple answer. I didn't know it was called Manilla either. I'm glad someone told me that because that helped a lot.

Re: HTC Diamond GUI

To be honest, the advanced search function needs to be improved. If you key in more than one word, it searchs for any of the words and so far I haven't seen anywhere in advanced search to choose all terms. Would help alot in terms of refining searches.

Re: HTC Diamond GUI

Yeah Ive noticed it is hard to search if you dont know how.

For a long time I got those search results that has tons of results that really have nothing to do with your search.
The solution that I found that helps is if you go to advanced search and instead of searching entire threads you can choose to search just the thread title. I know that say you search for the Sprint Touch GPS like you said alot of the longer threads are gonna have some sort of mention within that thread somewhere. Get what Im saying. I realized that because when I would search pretty much the same threads would show no matter what. A couple that come to mind is the Kitchen and Roms threads.

Anyway just a little tip that I found to be easier to find relavent results.
