Re: Iphone SMS?

I am definitely a fan of sms-chat.
I'm even planning on paying for it when the trial runs out.

Re: Iphone SMS?

Well I waited this long for the official ROM, I don't mind waiting a bit longer...since it's supposed to come out this month....we'll see about that.

I actually kind of like the stock contact manager again...so I won't go back to PocketCM for a while. It is a nice program though. The new black theme in the latest version was interesint...I like the reflections of the contact pictures... just too bad that you couldn't see the 160/160 for characters used in the message you're typing.

Re: Iphone SMS?

Yeah I'm hoping the creator of PocketCM creates a stand alone SMS application but I doubt it.

Re: Iphone SMS?

I don't like the official WM6.1 threaded SMS. You lose a lot of text messages when you do a soft reset. Also, messages get resent a lot from different days. Although its not official, it's very buggy.

Re: Iphone SMS?

I love SMS-Chat but hate Fun Contact....Is it possible to have iCOntact to work with SMS-Chat??

For Now I uninstalled both Fun Contact & SMS Chat & went w/PocketCM

I'm not gettin what you're saying. You dont have to have FunContact in order to use SMS-Chat. You don't have to install a 3rd party contact manager. the native contact app manages the contacts so....I'm not understanding

Re: Iphone SMS?

I am really wanting an SMS app too. I have cody's threaded sms app and it seems like there is a major delay on people receiving texts when I send thru it.

The app also pops up randomly which is kind of annoying

Re: Iphone SMS?

Ok...since version 0.24 of PocketCM came out, I started using it again. I am using that new Manila theme that was posted the other day, and I really like it again. I took the advice given here of turning the text message notification off, and it does work great now. The only problem I have now is that quite frequently it seems to lose conversations, they either shop up partially, or not at all, or they show up once, disappear, and then come back. Once that is fixed, I will be very pleased with it!
