Re: New Netfront update.
Is that so? How can you know when there's no official version out yet?
Oh, you are comparing an official test version of NetFront with a leaked pre-alpha build of Opera that was never even intended to be run on your phone (it's only for the HTC Diamond)? Not exactly a fair comparison... And I'm still wondering what this colum test that EtherealRemnant was referring to is. |

And I don't expect to see different version for different devices...So It doesn't seem to me an unfair competition... ![]() That's just my two cents... Cheers! |

Re: New Netfront 3.5 update.
I haven't received any errors regarding memory yet. It seems like there are a lot of customization options that I don't understand, but I am still playing around with it. One thing I am still trying to figure out is why it seems to load pages kinda slow. Is it because I using full browsing mode.
To my knowledge, the biggest upside of NF browser is that you can visit a secure site without it going through a 3rd party server. I also believe there are plugins available for flash. |

Re: New Netfront 3.5 update.
Well, I'm getting more memory errors than I would like. Thinking about dumping Netfront and sticking with PIE and Opera Mini.
Question though; I set Netfront as default browser and when removed it screwed my url file associations. Using Netfront didn't seem to help in setting up associations. Any registry edits I could do to get this set back to PIE? |
