Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 build 781!!

I think Opera in general still renders pages slower than Skyfire. The zoom in and scrolling has been improved. The favorites went a bit backwards with the icons showing up in much larger sizes. And I hate the fact that every time we upgrade, all of your previous bookmarks are erased as well. Still no flash.

But all in all, it's still pretty decent if you ask me.

I don't think they ever promised it would support flash, only supports flash lite 3

Does this install itself as the default browser over IE?

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 build 781!!

I'm not too impressed. It's slow as PIE, it froze up completely twice and the on screen keyboard pops up ar random.

I'm sticking with mini.

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 build 781!!

Runs very slow for me even the menu's are slow to pop up. i like the automatic full screen feature.

sticking with jbed mini 4.1 (far and away fastest most usable browser)
and netfront 3.5 for hard to get to spots

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 build 781!!

Ok, I have to say that after using this for alittle bit, it seems to get better.....yeah, yeah..HUH? Right....

But really, after install and using for abit, I installed something else which had me do a soft-reset. After that the load is faster, the menu load is faster also and overall I really like it. I have used PIE and it is for sure fastern than PIE. I also made my changes in the opera:config .

I have not had it freeze on me. I have my settings to my liking and Im staying with it till my skyfire invite comes(if ever lol).
