here is the qvga fix. copy the contents to windows > opera > skins.

I cant figure out how to upload a file here but...

STEP 1.

put this in the /windows/opera9/skins folder

Edit:pretty sure this file is the same as the guy/girl above me. didnt see his post and i havent checked it.

STEP 2.

then open opera and type in opera:config in the address bar.

click on adaptive zoom

max zoom = 120
minoverview zoom = 30
minzoom = 100

save settings: a popup window will come up telling you settings were saved.

STEP 3.

restart opera.

That's because the build you are using was intended to only run on the Diamond, where it is always supposed to be the default browser. The official version will probably work differently.

Are you running a stock or cooked ROM on the 8125? I've installed to both main memory and to my card and in both cases it seems pretty slow to me, at least compared to Opera Mini (although I think I have a slightly different version, like 1004). I've also got Skyfire and am not real impressed with it's speed either, but at least Opera Mobile doesn't seem to chew up the battery like Skyfire does.

Also, does anybody know how to call the SIP? When I go to a site for a user name and password I get the SIP for the user name, but when I go to the password the SIP disappears and I end up having to use the keyboard.

I can't get the regular nytimes page to load -- I keep getting redirected to nytimes.mobile. Any advice?

Also, has anyone solved the problem of the keyboard constantly popping up? Thanks.
