Hey im glad i can finally help someone! im more of a reader and researcher and thought most poeple know about these two awesome things for Opera Mini. Ill provide a link to the site so you can read for your self but included are
-How to make a shortcut for Opera Mini
-How to Fix permission problems using a hex editor (someone wrote a program also so it will fix all permissions if your lazy)

I wish there was a way to change the icon for my shortcut. He never posted how to do that in that thread.

they took out the never ask again option in this release..
the beta had it to where it wouldnt ask you to connect again..

now why the EFF did they do this??

They didn't take out the never ask again option. All you have to do is go to http://mini.opera.com/?alt=1&rel=4 on your phone. There will be a few signed versions there.

Probably have to modify the selector.utf file like the older release.

What is better about the final release as opposed to the beta release???

I don't want to switch to the final if it's going to ask me for permission everytime and there aren't any significant improvements over the Beta.

Besides, I got my Skyfire invite finally and I don't use Opera Mini as much as I used to before

Thats mainly an issue only with Jbed. But you can easily fix this by modifying the selector.utf file (Changing "domain=untrusted, \" to "domain=tckmax , \")

Not sure whats diff bet beta and final tho, my guess is bug fixes.
