No, in lieu of power management and some of the XM issues people have been experiencing I did not get favorites done. I hope to make this my next item.

I installed it and I can login to the canadian Sirius no problem, but when I try to play it the sound comes through the speaker and not the headphones. I am at work right now so I decided I will have to wait until later to play around with it. It might just be something i did. Thanks again!

Works great on my Touch.

Can't wait for Favorites!!!!

Wonder how a program like SelectRadio gets Sirius without the need to enter the letters verification box. That would be nice.

Any need to update, if all is working fine? I'm just waiting for favorites, but for the most part... everything seems to work A-OK for me, both Sirius and XM!

R-Capi,

Just had a chance to test out the new version on my lunch break. I have to say it works great! Playing through the speakers was my fault. Could I make just one suggestion/request. When i'm on the sign on screen and I have to fill in the captcha the SIP comes up and hides it. Can the captcha be moved to the top of the page to make it easier to sign in? Other than that this is the killer app I've been waiting for, thanks!!!!!

It's definitely something on your end. C-ApiSRO doesn't make a distinction between Mobile or Headphone output.

SelectRadio probably has a partnership with Sirius, that side steps the captcha.

In any case, I don't ever plan on circumventing the captcha. It's entire existence is to see that I don't, so it would be a tough, if not impossible, thing to pull off.

I Don't want you to circumvent captcha just want to be able to see the captcha when I bring up the keyboard, that's all. It gets hidden by the captcha. And yes I know it wasn't c-apisro with the speaker thing it was my own stupidity.
Thanks again and looking forward to future releases.

Both have 3-day trials. If you search the web, you might find a special promotion that extends that for more time.

There's a Yahoo Widget for Sirius that I use & I noticed that the login screen doesn't have the need to enter the Captcha response. I'm not sure how the author gets by this but it allows for auto login. It'd be a nice feature if this app could do the same.

First of all, I don't own Sirius for the radio. I own Sirius for the lack of commercials. I'm paying $13/month so that I don't have to listen to all of the BS on the radio that isn't music. Most, if not all, of us have Sirius or XM to listen to music when we aren't near an internet connection, such as our car. When you purchase Sirius XM you automatically get an online account which allows you to stream music over the internet. This is where C-ApiSRO comes in. C-ApiSRO essentially turns your mobile phone into a mobile Sirius XM radio, which makes use of this internet account.

This is interesting. I will have to do more research on that widget to see what is going on there. Thanks for the info.

Hey r-capi, this has become a major pet peeve of mine...

whenever I receive a call while listening to the radio, the call interrupts the feed and stops the media player (provided I answer). Once the call is finished, it tries to let the media player continue, but XM drops the connection and I get the, "we're sorry, but the xm blah blah blah.. please reconnect and try again..."

great, fine. I don't have a problem with that. it's when i try to pick another channel or the same channel that bugs me. the player actually seems to connect and the try to play, but then the app suddenly crashes and I have to start all over.

If you visit the Sirius / XM websites, you can sign up for a free trial for 3 days. I'm sure that after the trial & use of this awesome app you'll get a sat radio subscription. I'll pay for anything that doesn't have commercials! LOL

Hi -

First off, fantastic app - I've been using it for about a month now in it's various releases and it's always worked fantastically on my Sprint Touch Diamond.

Quick question though. I just upgraded to high speed streams and noticed upon my first sign in that the "High Speed" option was now enabled which shows that your app has obviously found that my account was indeed upgraded.

However, it's somewhat difficult to tell if moving from a 32k stream to 128k has made an audio difference, at least over the default phone speaker. =P

In any event, I've searched through your thread pages and never quite was able to tell if the program is indeed streaming at 128k now (even though it clearly knows I have an "upgraded account".

Is high speed active? Perhaps as a feature request for a future version, you could program in a "statistics" bar that shows the speed of the incoming stream?

In any event, thanks again for the great work! If you'll take donations, please PM me with a paypal account and I'd be happy to contribute to the cause. =)

You'll just have to tell people to stop calling you.

Seriously, I'll note this as a defect and take a look at it when I get the chance. No promises though.

i'm not looking for anything miraculous. i just want the app to stop crashing. you said you incorporated an "auto-logon" for xm subscribers when the connection drops. i wonder if you just need to release the connection / close the background media player and then retry the logon.

maybe have the app actually log itself off and log back on?

Sirius uses a flag in the stream request to ask for high/low stream feeds. The only thing I do is send the proper flag when you select it, if your account supports it. I've never actually looked at the physical stream to see what I'm getting because I do not pay for high stream. I was able to briefly test it using a friends account, but that's a far as it went.

I will look to see if there is a quick way to report the statistics and add it to my list of future features.

Thank you for the donation offer, however, at this point I don't feel their is a need to ask for it. Just remember, despite what others are saying, C-ApiSRO is the first Sirius XM app available.

App is awesome and works perfectly. The only negative, which isnt really all that important is that the app freezes for a split second when i scroll. So I will fling the channels down to scroll, and it will freeze, then continue scrolling, then freeze, then continue scrolling, then freeze then finish scrolling. Not that big of deal, but just thought I would throw in my experience. Thanks a lot for all of your hard work on this program.

GREAT work! The only small nit I've noticed is that the program does not set the Touch Pro (Fuze) to stay on when opperating on battery power, so I have to go into settings and then remember to change them back when I'm done listening.
