if anyone here has tried this with touch pal and has a comparison i would like to know what you think.

Is Touchpal what is already on my Touch? If so, then this is better, especially if you want a QWERTY keyboard. I like the QWERTY on this because it makes things like typing unique words or passwords MUCH easier. It also is a bit more intuitive.

The only problem I have with the DIamond keyboard is when you open up a new text message, and you try and type in the name of the person you want to text, the smartdial/name thing doesn't pop up.

Like on the stock HTC keyboard, if I wanted to text 'Tim,' I'd hit 'T' in the to: box, and the names with 'T' would pop up.

For some reason, the diamond keyboard doesn't have this enabled.

Anybody know a fix?

Well almost an hour later I reset the phone. The keyboard's still there. I'll try again later I guess.

I love this keyboard, but has anyone else noticed their phone slowing down with it installed? After un-installing it, the problem went away, but came back after re-installing. The start menu and task manager seem to respond slower along with a few programs (namely Oxios). The amount of RAM I have is fine, there's no leak, yet the phone has definitely slowed down.

It does on mine. Are you sure you set it from the default Italian version to the English version under options? Just mess with those a bit, no reason for that not to work.
