How to add calender to htc home plugin?
Does anybody know how to add the calender (calender+) tab to htc home plugin so that it shows up within the plugin? As in I want to be able to view my upcoming appointments etc within the actual space of the plugin. I have searched but all I could find that was close to this was a link over at xda,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=286651 but not sure if it will run the calender within the plugin. I think there are other programs that can do this but I like the simplicity of htc home plugin and the look (customized with hhc). Reason I want to do this is to clean up the desktop a bit. I guess there would be less space for my appointments but I don;t mind scrolling. Maybe the next thing to try and figure out is increasing the size of the htc home plugin space. Any ideas for changing either calender or size within the plugin? |

Have you tried Ultimate Launch? It won't make a new tab, but you can set the parameters of UL to be only the height of HTC home. Then you just 'slide' your finger right to left or left to right, and you can switch between screens. That way you set htc home as one screen, and calendar (I strongly recommend today agenda) as another screen. You can put more screens for whatever you want, then you just 'slide' between them. This will also give you more space to view your appointments. IMHO, this is a better option that integrating a new tab into htc home.

Hey thanks for the reply. I actually checked out UL the other day but I found it to be pretty complicated. I also tried spb pocketplus which kinda lets you do the same thing. I agree it would be nice to have more screen available for viewing my calendar but I thought it would be more simple/easier on the eyes if it were integrated into htc home. I guess regardless of what I want to do its gonna be complicated....
I'll give UL another shot, thanks again |
